# Image Moderation API

## Endpoints

- `POST /v1/moderations/image` (MCP tool `moderate_image`): Classify images as normal or nsfw. Images are base64-encoded png/jpeg/webp/gif/bmp.

## Limits and measured results

- Send the raw image, a multipart field named file, or JSON {"images_base64":[...]}. Up to 8 images, 50 megapixels each.
- Returns normal/nsfw probabilities and flagged (nsfw >= 0.5). A binary classifier: it does not detect violence, minors or text.
- Logits match PyTorch to 5.5e-06.
- Speed: 0.65x PyTorch (about 2 images/s on 2 cores). Images are decoded in memory and never written to disk.
